As a Brazilian Jujitsu brown belt, and on the Executive Protection Team for Walmart I believe always continuing to train and improve is so important.

Andres is an excellent instructor on the range for beginners and advanced practitioners.  His trauma medicine is something everyone needs in life from hunters, to teachers, parents, and everyday citizens.

As an actor and director I come across guns on set and wanted knowledge and gun handling experience.  I often spend months directing in remote locations of Mexico, as well as a resident of Mexico City -  thus self-defense shooting was also of paramount importance to me.

In the solo class I was able to learn quickly and efficiently.  The course was even offered in Spanish.  Andres is a very professional teacher.  He is precise and clear, methodical learning while feeling at ease and having fun.

I had the pleasure of working with Andres Capra for almost ten years on the Austin Swat team. Capra, as we all knew him, and I always seemed to end up on the hot calls together including, but not limited to, two-gun hotshots where the suspects ended up shooting themselves in the head.

Capra and I ended up first on the body and where able to work together based on the training he gave me to maintain vitals in both subjects. Even after having to carry the subjects' long distances transferring them from mega mover to back seat of police unit to EMS rig. I was able to support Capra in the back of the ambulance with multiple interventions while rolling to the hospital. because of what I had been taught.  When we got to the hospital with the subjects, they were both viable for organ transplants. I remember the ER doctors being amazed and ecstatic that we were able to pull this off because it almost never happens.

Well Capra and I did it twice. Capra was alway leading the most up to date medical training for all of our guys. I know for a fact that the training we received from Capra and his team of Tac medics was the reason we were able to save John Connors life and give Jorge a fighting chance based on his injuries.

One of the most impressive things was Capra’s ability to come out to our Thursday firearms training and hold his own with guys that shoot for their livelihood.  We would have competitions and he would regularly beat guys on the team.

I cannot recommend Capra highly enough, his skill set, his drive, his work ethic and teaching ability in this arena is top notch.
